Vista Lago Ballroom

I normally don't write reviews. But I have too today. My daughter's vow renewal on 4.15.23 was an amazing event. Vista Lago, was the most professional venue we have experienced. Their attention to details and consideration was over the top. From the Food, flowers, DJ Avila, (coolest ever), all their staff. Amazing!! From day one planning it to the day of the event. I can only recommend this venue as the best in Miami. Thank you Jose And Christina, you guys know your stuff!!

We would like to extend our heartfelt thanks to Shantal for her outstanding service last night for our wedding 7-15-23. Her attention to detail, coupled with her patience and understanding, truly made a difference. Because of her professionalism and exceptional execution of our vision, our dream wedding came to life. Our appreciation also goes to all the staff at Vista Lago who worked on our event. Everything was absolutely perfect! The food, the bar service, and the ambiance were top-notch. EXCEPTIONAL!!!! On 3/3/23, we celebrated my daughter, Madison's BIG 15th party at Vista Lago Ballroom. My family & I our so happy we choose Vista Lago Ballroom for our venue. Its such a beautiful venue, a hidden gem, in the Kendall area. Loved that the whole place was to ourselves, beautiful presence to the front of the building as well as to the back terrace with the beautiful and relaxing lake view and water fountain. You can tell that the owners, Jose & Raquel, take proud to please their customers and help them complete their vision. On the day of the event, their crew (bartender, kitchen manager and Andi /coordinator) were all amazing, cannot say enough. They kept me informed and help during the whole event stay on time. All the guest complimented on the venue's elegance, both inside and outside of the building. They loved the food selection, buffet style: salmon, churrasco, pasta alfredo, chicken marsala, rice pilaf, Mediterranean vegetables and fufu. They also loved the charcuterie and shrimp display tables furing cocktail hour. They were blown away by the beautiful set-up. Love how the charcuterie had the different levels of items displayed in different height ranges and the various types of deli meat selections and cheeses, dipping sauces, different crackers, breadsticks, fruits and vegetables that gave great color to the display. They also had crackers in the shape of butterflies, which was a beautiful detail since my daughter 15th had butterflies to her theme. Th e shrimp display was astonishing stunning. Large shrimps laying in an ice tray carved display with my daughter's name, a giant rose and the #15, in lights. Their waiters were so professional, in appearance and the way they presented themselves. They helped set up all my guest tables and the cocktail tables exactly how I wanted. They really paid attention to details. When you plan for such a big evet, that takes you months and a lot of money, you want to make sure that it comes out the way you plan and envision it. You want to make sure you hire the right people with experience, because once it's done there is no turning back. Vista Lago Ballroom accomplished our expectation along with one of their preferred vendors which I strongly recommend as well: Infinity Sound Production. They work amazingly well together, very professional and take their business and reputation into consideration.

Our experience with Vista Lago was great!! We had an awesome wedding and enjoyed our special day very much. We received plenty of compliments on all the decorations and the way the hall looked that day. Leydis was very sweet and made me feel ensured that everything would go smoothly the day of the wedding, as well as provided great suggestions. The day of the wedding Cecilia took care of everything in a phenomenal way and made sure I didn't have to raise a finger for anything (Thank you so much Cecilia!!). The reason that I am giving them four stars instead of five is because the day of the wedding I had multiple guests tell me the serving staff was rude to them and one of them even dropped a cup of the soda on the table and just left it there, did not clean it up right away. Obviously the day of the wedding that was very awkward and embarrassing to hear such complaints. I let Cecilia know and like a true professional she addressed it immediately. Also the whole time leading up to the wedding I was dealing with and communicating with Leydis, which made me feel at ease because I had met with her personally several times and she knew exactly every little detail for the day of the wedding. On the actual day I was kind of blindsided to see Cecilia there, whom I had not built rapport with at all and had not discussed everything with in detail. I feel that being informed prior that Cecilia was going to be my coordinator the day of the wedding and having a chance to build rapport with her would have been better and made me feel better. The reason this was an issue for me was because the day of the wedding although the centerpieces were beautiful they were not the way I have discussed and chosen with Leydis the day of my tasting so I was a little bummed about that. Overall my experience was great and I would recommend them to my friends, there are just little things that should be addressed. Thank you to everyone at Vista Lago for an amazing wedding!!

I had only 3 weeks to plan and execute my engagement party and was very nervous about finding a venue and vendors. I was lucky enough to stumble upon Vista Lago and they took care of the rest. All I had to do was explain our cultural norms, my ideas, and they got it! From making sure our religious dietary needs were met to making sure our guests were comfortable and taken care of, they had it down packed. The customizable all inclusive package was a blessing, zero stress planning. All I had to worry about was showing up with hair and make up! Jose, Roly, Rachel, and Raquel were very responsive and attentive to detail. They even had space for the photobooth. Amazing service. My guests loved the food and the photo ops outside. Would recommend and have future events here! *** if you are looking for a venue that can cater halal food, they got you!
